Vik Ørsta AS is the only one on the Scandinavian market that can offer the surface treatment CombiCoat® on steel constructions as long as 12 meters and with a weight of up to 1000 kg.

CombiCoat®, which is an industrial method with the opportunity of good quality controls, expands the longevity of the product, eases the cleaning and gives a better surface finish. Our new powder coating installations opens for the possibility of delivering large steel constructions in all available RAL- and NCS-colours.

CombiCoat® is our standard surface treatment, which includes both hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating. Hot-dip galvanizing has for a long time been known as an effective way of protecting steel. The products are being pre-treated, dipped in a zinc solution and after-treated.

The powder coating is a modern industrial process for untreated or zinc plated surfaces. The process is suitable were there are high demands with regards to corrosion protection, or where there is a request for a better surface finish and colour.
