CombiCoat® is a combination of hot-dip galvanizing, zinc phosphatizing and powder coating. The treatment gives unique protection against corrosion and wear and tear as well as giving the surface a classy finish.

CombiCoat® can be delivered in various colours according to the customers’ wishes.

The CombiCoat® treatment has a longevity that is much greater than just hot-dip galvanized materials.

Longevity by duplex systems: A duplex system has greater longevity than the sum of each coating put together.

Dutch investigations show that the systems longevity can be calculated with the use of the equation:

LT=K(LZn+LM)
LT = The duplex system’s longevity stated in years
LZn = The longevity of the zinc coating stated in years in the definite environment and with hot-dip galvanizing only.
LM = The estimated longevity of the paint-coating if it is applied directly on the steel.
K = The environmental combined action factor with a value that can be put to:
1,5 when the system are being exposed to environment classification C4 and C5 or is permanently submerged in sea water.
1,6-2,0 for exposure in environment classification C3 or when the system is moist less than 60% of the time.
2,1-2,3 when exposed in environment classification C2.
